Membership Open Studio

An ideal option for those looking for a more relaxed and modern ceramic workspace.

 

If you’ve taken a ceramic course and don't need hands-on instruction
and feel confident working independently or need a place to practice,
and develope your skills, you’re most welcome to join the Open  Studio.

 

It's a great opportunity to explore your ceramic journey in the company of other ceramist.
The benefit of working with others, is inspiring and stimulating.

The Studio is equipped – among others – with 2 electric kilns, a Jumbo slabroller, several electric pottery wheels, and a myriad of hand-building tools.

And for more inspiration, a wide assortment of magazines and books on ceramics.

The studio is open 7 days a week, between 9.00 - 21.00
with the exception of sceduled classes or workshops.

 

1: Morning      9.00 – 13.00

2: Afternoon 13.00 – 17.00

3: Evening    17.00 – 21.00

 

The membership entitles you to 8 sessions per month.

And as long as you’re a member, you can always catch up
on missed session (s) in the following month (s) – however not as a replacement, but as an addition.

 

Costs: € 160,- incl. btw
(+ € 29,50 firingcosts incl. btw )

Included: use of all tools, equipment and storage. Excluded clay and glazes.

It’s possible to buy different types of clay from our stock.

 

Memberships are payable in advance

 

Notice period is one month

Extra

 

Raku workshops ( 1 day)
Every year in Spring and Summer I organize raku workshops at the Stadshoeve, an organic farm in Zunderdorp, Amsterdam. If you would also like to participate, you can make a number of pieces with a type of clay which is suitable for raku firing.
Cost of an additional raku workshop: €125,-  for 1 day (glazes included)
